RESCUE End User Workshop at THW in Bonn

On 30th June and 1st July, the German Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW) has organized and hosted the second end user workshop in Bonn. The focus: To jointly develop an end user requirement catalog regarding the development of our RESCUE system for civil protection.

Natural disasters place specific demands on power generators – here the RESCUE project comes into play: Our partners are developing and testing an innovative transportable fuel cell system with fuel flexibility – capable of running on both methanol and hydrogen. Moreover, perspective options for multi-fuel flexibility using HT-PEM technology are investigated. You never know which fuel is available in disaster areas…

The workshop brought together key project stakeholders:

THW served as host and contributed its operational experience.
PROACT shared expertise on safety requirements and certification.
DLR contributed from the perspective of project coordination and system testing.
ADVENT contributed with recent state of system development.

And last many thanks to the Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance (BBK), who presented their own fuel cell container and provided valuable end user insight.

A great example of collaboration for resilience and innovation in disaster response. Thanks to THW and all participants for this great engaging workshop!
